Wheat rava and sugar free Kesari

Ingredients (Translation)

4 tbsp roasted wheat rava
Sugar free pills - 8 pills
Water (3:1 proportion for water:rava)
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Few cashews (optional)
1 tbsp Ghee

The use of wheat rava instead of sooji and sugar free pills instead of sugar gives the pleasure of having a sweet even while dieting. I use 2 pills of sugar free as substitute for 1 tbsp sugar. You could add or decrease as per your requirements.

In a microwave safe bowl, add the ghee and cashews and micro high for 15 seconds. Add water and micro high for 2 minutes.

Add the wheat rava, mix well and micro high for 2 minutes. Finally add the sugar free pills, cardamom powder and mix well. Micro high again for 2 more minutes. If still watery, micro high again for 1 more minute.

Also, you can add a pinch of orange red food colour along with the sugar free pills.

Making the dish in microwave also requires lesser ghee as compared to the traditional method. Diet special wheat rava kesari with sugar free pills ready in minutes.

This is my entry to Hima's Diet Food event.

Love that. I agree using sugar free in a dessert/sweet reduces the calories drastically. Thanks for sending such a lovely sweet dish on my way.
