Ingredients
1/2 cup rice
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar (add more if required)
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ghee
Few cashews
Soak the rice in 1 cup water for 1/2 hour and micro high in a microwave safe bowl for 10 minutes.
Add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Mix and micro high for 2 minutes. Add milk and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add ghee and cashews to another microwave safe bowl and micro high for a minute. Add this to the kheer. Add more milk if required.
Serve hot or cold.

Tasty dish! The other day I made Apple kheer in the microwave. Definitely a much quicker option than stovetop!
