Steamed Corn


Ingredients

1 cup of corn
Salt to taste
2 tsp butter
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp kasuri methi

Add water to the base of the steamer and add the corn in the upper portion. Micro high for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Serve hot...for a quick and healthy snack

@ Priyanka...I am very much aware of the health effects of microwaved food in the long run....For me, microwave cooking comes to the rescue when I am in a hurry or when my stove is busy or I need to cook something with less fat and spices...it is occassional cooking in MW...Thanks for the concern

But seriously.. lots of people in India don't know about it. Being a scientist myself I get to learn about a lot of inventions of science that are creating more problems than solving.

Yes, definitely leave out the microwave, as eating microwaved food has a very toxic effect on one's blood and immune system. I will make time for my meals rather than sacrifice health for the sake of convenience and would far rather go without eating than to eat anything microwaved.

But on the stove, this would be a most delicious recipe indeed.
